OMP at PRI
Despite the unfortunate and unstable economic situation, over 1,300 exhibiting companies with buyers from more then 50 countries gathered this past week in Orlando, Florida for the 21st annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show. PRI is the world’s largest racing trade show, offering consumers and racing enthusiasts a preview of the latest advances in racing technology and product lines. The show kicked off on Thursday morning and ended its first day with an exciting go-kart race with an all-star line-up which included some of our own OMP drivers; Alex Tagliani, Nelson Philippe, Vitor Meira and Will Power. OMP was proud to reveal our new state-of-the art designs for our Racing suits, gloves, boots, and safety equipment. Guests at the show were able to experience first hand the new innovations OMP has to offer as well as gain a better insight about the technology used for the 2009 products. Over all it was another great year at PRI for OMP and we look forward to the upcoming 2009 season, and we hope our “racing spirit” will help us beat the challenges.
OMP 2009 Product line
OMP launched a number of improved racing and safety products, as well as new lines, OMP ONE, OMP VINTAGE, and OMP OFFICINA, to add to our already extensive catalogs.
OMP ONE
The innovative OMP ONE collection represents the best of two worlds: technology combined with Italian design. This collection features improved racing and safety products manufactured using breakthrough technology in product lightness with new materials for fire suits, underwear and gloves.
OMP VINTAGE
Also new for the 2009 line-up, will be an expansion of the Vintage collection featuring new suits and accessories. Inspired by the first golden age era of automotive racing, OMP’s new Vintage line pays homage to some of the very first products the company ever produced.
OMP OFFICINA
OMP OFFICINA, meaning workshop, meets the demand for leisure sportswear to be used by teams and drivers in the paddock, as well as during their free time after an exhilarating day at the track. This lifestyle-oriented line will encompass shoes, clothing and travel accessories.
