HOW TO MEASURE A SUIT
Taking suit measurements requires the utmost precision. Please use a cloth (tailor/seamstress) measuring tape. We look for extremes therefore the widest, slimmest and longest points of your body. Do not add inches, we do that when we design your suit at the computer. Below is a helpful list of how to properly measure for the perfect fit.
A - CHEST - Measure the circumference just under the arms whilekeeping both arms along the driver’s body.
B - WAISTLINE - Waistline circumference.
C - HIPS - Pelvis circumference; measurements to be taken at the largest point of the buttocks.
D - THIGH - Thigh circumference; measurements to be taken at the largest point of the thigh.
E - ARM - Measurement to be taken from the shoulder point to the wrist.
F - INSIDE LEG - measurements to be taken on the internal part of leg, from the groin to the ankle bone.
G - SHOULDERS - measurements to be taken from the right shoulder point to the left shoulder point.
H - BACK - measurements to be taken from the base of the neck to the waistline.

If you thought Marco Andretti’s Indiana Jones suit was amusing, then be sure to check out his new suit that we prepared for the IndyCar Sonoma race late this month. AGR developed a partnership with Blockbuster and Lucas Film for the launch of some of the finest movies of the year.
Both the driver and the car will promote the new Star Wars ‘The Clone Wars’ movie and we prepared another media-talking suit for Marco. Production of these special suits is difficult and expensive. A lot of man-hours go into the design, study and implementation of such overalls. But at OMP we accepted the challenge and worked all the details out in order to provide our teams and drivers the best possible sponsor exposure and safety - it is fun to note that a few fanatics called our offices and offered up to $10,000.00 for an Indiana Jones replica suit.
