OMP ANNOUNCES ITS NEW TEAM/DRIVER LINE-UP FOR THE 2008 INDY CAR SEASON


OMP celebrates its 35th Anniversary of manufacturing racing and safety equipment accessories. It has been 35 years where OMP has created some of the best products and most sophisticated line on the market. Today OMP Racing is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of racing safety equipment and tuning accessories with a catalog of over 4,500 different items.  With a new showroom in Miami and a newly launched website, OMP has now made the product line and communication stream easier and more accessible for the media, trade and consumers.

With a history of excellent drivers from Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Michael Andretti, Nigel Mansel, David Coulthard, Mika Hakkinen, Keke Rosberg among others to our new generation drivers and one of our most promising one, third generation racer Marco Andretti along with Indy Light standout Hideki Mutoh.

OMP continuously strives to offer drivers the best in quality and customer service and is proud to support the following teams and drivers for the 2008 Indy Car and Indy Light Series:

- Marco Andretti and AGR car #26 crewmembers;
- Hideki Mutoh and AGR car #27 crewmembers;
- Will Power and Team Australia/KV Racing Technology car # 8 and car #5 crewmembers;
- Vitor Meira driver of the #4 Panther Racing entry;

In addition OMP is the official supplier of the Super Auguri F1 racing team as well as of the official Suzuki World Rally Cars Challenge.
